This page covers the iffli.com website and its waitlist. The Iffli app has its own privacy policy.

Visiting the website

No account. Audience measurement and advertising pixels only load with your consent, given in the cookie banner; the Cookies page says which ones, why and for how long. Fonts are served by the website itself. Our host, Scaleway, keeps technical logs (IP address, requested page, date) to run and protect the service.

When you arrive through a campaign or referral link, its parameters (source, campaign, referrer code), the landing page and the site you came from follow the website’s links in the page address. They are only sent if you fill in the waitlist form, and to audience measurement if you accepted it.

Joining the waitlist

What we receive: your email address and, if you give them, your first name, your watch, your phone and what you are training for; the country taken from your browser’s language; your consents and their date; your referrer’s code and your own; the provenance described above. Nothing about your health.

Why: to email you to confirm your address, then to invite you into the beta, and to know which watches and phones to support first. If you ticked the news box, we also write a few times a year. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

For how long: a signup that is never confirmed is deleted after 30 days. A confirmed signup is kept while you stay on the list, and at most three years after our last exchange.

Who processes it: the Iffli server, hosted by Fly.io in its Paris region, keeps the list. Emails are sent through Scaleway Transactional Email. The form may be protected against robots by Cloudflare Turnstile, which then receives your IP address and technical information about your browser. Your data is never sold or rented.

The “Listen” button

The samples on the home page are read by your browser’s or your system’s speech synthesis. Depending on the browser, that voice may come from an online service of its vendor; the website receives nothing.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete data about you, or leave the list, by writing to privacy@iffli.com. We answer within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
